What Yarn or did you use thread? I haven't worked with stuff that tiny since I was learning. My Gran taught me by useing thread and mens Hankies and putting lace on them for her Ladies at Church.

I used very thin croched thread made especially for crochetted lace.
Mine is from a french brand called DMC.
